This page is a draft. Highlighted details about our company are still being completed and the text will be reviewed before we take payments.
In short
- Your free trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. WhatsApp connects after you choose a paid plan.
- Plans renew automatically. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.
- The AI can make mistakes. You decide what it knows and whether its replies are sent automatically or wait for your team.
- Your business owns its content and its customers' conversations. We use them only to run Galdrik for you.
- Meta charges WhatsApp messaging fees directly to your business. We add nothing to them.
1. Who we are and who these Terms apply to
These Terms of Service are an agreement between the business that creates a Galdrik workspace (“you”) and [To be completed: Legal name of the company], [To be completed: Registered address] (“Galdrik”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using Galdrik you accept these Terms. If you accept them for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that business. Galdrik is a service for businesses; it is not meant for personal or household use.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and the list of subprocessors.
2. What Galdrik does
Galdrik gives your business an AI assistant that answers your customers on WhatsApp using the knowledge you add (for example your FAQs and instructions), and a shared workspace where your team reads conversations, replies, takes over from the AI and handles the cases the AI hands to a person.
We keep improving Galdrik, so features can change. When a change removes something your business relies on, we will tell the workspace owner before it happens.
3. Your account and your team
- The person who creates the workspace is its owner. The owner manages the plan and billing and can invite teammates as admins or agents.
- Keep your password private. Two-step verification with an authenticator app is available in your profile and we recommend it.
- You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what your teammates do. Tell us right away if you think someone used your account without permission.
- The information you give us when you sign up (name, work e-mail, business name, country) must be accurate. Sign-up is currently available to businesses in the United States and Canada.
4. Free trial
- The free trial lasts 14 days and does not need a payment method. It includes the limits of the Starter plan.
- During the trial you can add your knowledge, test your assistant on the web, invite your team and set it up. Connecting a WhatsApp number requires a paid plan.
- When the trial ends without a plan, the AI assistant pauses. Your team can still sign in and see the workspace. Choosing a plan turns the assistant back on.
5. Plans, prices and payment
- Plans are paid monthly or yearly, in advance, in U.S. dollars. Prices are on our pricing page and on the payment page before you pay.
- Payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure page; we never see or store your card number. The charge appears on your statement as [To be completed: Name shown on card statements].
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- Moving to a larger plan takes effect at once and you are charged the difference for the rest of the current period right away.
- Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the current period. It is not possible while your team or connected channels exceed what the smaller plan includes.
- Prices do not include sales tax. Where tax applies, it is added on the payment page.
- If we change a price, the new price applies only from your next billing period and we tell you before it does.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and we e-mail the workspace owner. You have 7 days from the first failure to pay (you can pay from the Billing page). After that the AI assistant pauses until the payment goes through; your team, your workspace and your data stay available.
7. Cancellation and refunds
The owner can cancel the subscription at any time from the Billing page. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and until then you can change your mind and keep your plan. Once the AI has done work in a paid period, that payment is not refunded; the exceptions (a full refund in the first hours when Galdrik has not been used, a reviewed partial refund, and problems on our side) are in our Refund Policy.
8. Your AI allowance
- Each plan includes an allowance of AI work. We show it as an estimated number of AI-handled conversations a month; because the allowance measures the AI work your conversations need, the real number can be higher or lower.
- There is a weekly limit as well as the monthly one, so one busy week cannot use up the whole month. The weekly allowance resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC and the monthly allowance on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC, whatever your billing date.
- The owner and admins get an e-mail when the workspace reaches 80% and 100% of its allowance. When the allowance runs out, new conversations go to your team until it resets, or until you move to a larger plan.
9. WhatsApp
- You connect your own WhatsApp Business account and phone number. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's terms and policies for WhatsApp Business, and you must follow them.
- Meta charges its WhatsApp messaging fees directly to your WhatsApp Business account. We do not collect them and add nothing to them. Meta may stop delivering messages from a number whose account has no valid payment method.
- We connect to WhatsApp through an official Meta Tech Provider listed on our subprocessors page.
- A WhatsApp number can only be connected while the workspace has an active paid plan. If the subscription ends, the assistant stays paused for non-payment, or a trial ends without a plan, we may disconnect the number from Galdrik. We e-mail the owner at least 3 days before we do.
10. The AI assistant
- AI replies are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. You choose what the assistant knows and how it behaves, and you are responsible for the replies your business sends to its customers.
- By default replies wait for your team's approval. Plans that include automatic replies let you turn them on; when you do, replies are sent without a person reading them first.
- The assistant is told to hand a conversation to your team when it is unsure, when a customer complains or asks for a person, and when your handoff rules say so.
- Do not rely on the assistant alone for decisions with legal, medical or financial consequences for your customers.
- Where the law requires it, tell your customers that they may be talking to an automated assistant.
- The instructions we give the AI are confidential and are not part of what we deliver to you.
11. Your data
- Your business owns its content: the knowledge you add, its conversations, contacts and files.
- You allow us to store, process and send that content only as needed to run Galdrik for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. For your customers' personal data we act on your behalf and follow your instructions.
- You are responsible for having the right to message your customers and to share their information with us.
- We do not sell your data and we do not use it to advertise.
- Your team can download any conversation as a text file from the workspace. A copy of the whole workspace, or its deletion, is done by our team when the owner asks us.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Galdrik to:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or keep messaging people who asked you to stop;
- send content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, hateful or harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- ask customers for card numbers, bank passwords or government ID numbers in a chat;
- handle protected health information: Galdrik is not designed for it;
- pretend to be another person or business;
- try to get around limits or security, probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission, copy or reverse engineer it, or try to make the AI reveal its instructions;
- overload the service or resell it without our written agreement;
- break any law that applies to your messages, including laws on marketing messages and privacy.
13. Suspension and ending the agreement
- We may pause the AI assistant or suspend a workspace if these Terms are broken, if payment is not made, or when it is needed to protect your customers, other businesses or the service. When we can, we tell the owner why and how to fix it.
- You can stop using Galdrik at any time by cancelling your subscription.
- After a subscription ends, the workspace stays available with the assistant paused until the owner asks us to delete it. What we delete and what we keep is explained in the Privacy Policy.
14. Other companies' services
WhatsApp (Meta), Stripe and the apps and tools you connect to Galdrik are provided by other companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for their services, but we choose the companies that process data for us with care and list them on our subprocessors page.
15. Disclaimers
We work to keep Galdrik available and correct, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI replies will be accurate, and we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
16. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim related to Galdrik is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
17. Your responsibility for claims
You will defend us against, and pay the costs of, claims by third parties that arise from your content, the messages your business sends, or your breaking of these Terms or of the law.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [To be completed: Governing law (U.S. state)], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are heard by the courts of [To be completed: Courts that hear disputes (city and state)].
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Before a material change takes effect we tell the workspace owner by e-mail or in the workspace. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using Galdrik after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
20. General
These Terms, together with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement about Galdrik. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger or sale of our business. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up.
